3. I took out two payday loans five years ago when I had been sick with a flare up of brain swelling
from a neurological condition I picked up in the Gulf War. Some crooks standing around the payday loan place got a hold of me and convinced me that they had just gotten back from Iraq and were losing their home, etc., etc.,. I collected all my disability paperwork from the VA and social security as proof of income and got $1,000 loans at two payday loan companies and gave the money to the poor "vets" and never saw them again. When those sharks wanted their money, my family had a fit. My son went to a lawyer. These payday idiots had seen my disability papers with the reason given for my disability as WAR RELATED NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION. I was incompetent at the time to take out a loan and the nimrods still gave me one!! The lawyer told us we didn't have to pay it back, but over the years, the sharks call me to try to collect and it appears on my credit periodically and I have to go to all these horrible time consuming lengths to get it off, and it never, ever ends.
